This outstanding participation marks a proud moment and a significant achievement for Pakistan, as it highlights the growing influence and contribution of the country’s automotive sector on the global stage.
Auto Shanghai 2025 also underscored Changan’s strategic focus on advancing green technology and smart mobility. With developments such as battery-swapping electric vehicles (in collaboration with CATL) and research into next-generation solid-state batteries, Changan is leading the charge toward safer, more efficient, and intelligent transportation solutions. As part of its ambitious global vision, Changan reaffirmed its goals under the Dubhe Plan 2.0 and the Vast Ocean Plan, which include achieving L3 autonomous driving capabilities by 2026, expanding manufacturing across Asia and Europe, launching 10 battery-swapping vehicle models, and reaching 1.2 million global unit sales by 2030.
Beyond automotive innovation, Changan announced its investment of 20 billion yuan into low-altitude air mobility solutions, including the development of flying cars through a joint venture with EHang.
