foodpanda Pakistan, the country’s leading online delivery platform, has officially launched its first ever Flagship Rider Rest Station at Gold Crest Mall, Lahore. The initiative represents a first of its kind milestone in Pakistan, designed to offer delivery partners a comfortable, dignified, and reliable space to recharge between orders.

Facing scorching summers, busy evening rushes, and unpredictable weather, delivery riders consistently ensure meals and essential goods reach households across the country. The flagship station was developed to translate appreciation into tangible support for their ongoing wellbeing and dignity on the road.

Strategically located at Gold Crest Mall, the newly inaugurated facility provides a premium rest environment equipped with air-conditioned comfort to offer relief from extreme weather, dedicated seating areas for quiet relaxation, hydration facilities with clean drinking water, and high speed device charging stations to keep delivery phones powered throughout every shift.

“Months of meticulous planning and a deep commitment to our delivery fleet have brought this ambition to life,” said Muntaqa Peracha, CEO foodpanda Pakistan. “Our riders serve our communities every single day with resilience and dedication. They deserve spaces thoughtfully designed for their comfort and care. This flagship station at Gold Crest Mall is just the beginning of a broader movement to elevate standards for last-mile workers across Pakistan.”

Hasaan Pardesi, CEO of Gold Crest Mall, commented on the partnership, “Real social impact happens when industry leaders work together for the greater good. We are pleased to partner with foodpanda on this ground breaking initiative at Gold Crest Mall. By providing dedicated hydration, cooling, and charging facilities, we are ensuring that the hardworking delivery riders are given the respect and comfort they truly deserve.”

To scale this initiative across major urban centers, foodpanda is actively seeking strategic partnerships with like-minded corporate organisations, commercial property owners, shopping malls, fuel stations, real estate developers, and municipal bodies. By collaborating with partners who share a commitment to social impact and last-mile workforce welfare, foodpanda plans to accelerate the rollout of rest stations across the country.

The launch in Lahore is an important step in foodpanda’s long-term vision to build a comprehensive, nationwide network of Rider Rest Stations, ensuring that regardless of where riders operate, safe and fully equipped facilities are always within reach.
