JazzCash, Pakistan’s largest fintech organization, has partnered as a payment service provider with the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), a government organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities in Punjab through financial and social assistance programs. Through this collaboration, JazzCash will be facilitating disbursements to PSPA’s more than 1 million beneficiaries across Punjab.

Since its establishment in 2015, the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) is implementing various social protection programs aimed at supporting vulnerable communities in the Punjab Province. These programs include Ba-Himmat Buzurg Program for older persons, Masawaat Program for Transgender Persons, Nayee Zindagi Program for Acid Attack Victims, Humqadam Program for PWDs, and Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) to improve vulnerable segments’ access to healthcare, basic education and social & economic protection.

JazzCash will assist PSPA in disbursing financial assistance to enable access to healthcare, basic education, and social and economic protection for vulnerable communities to address critical social protection gaps.

“We are humbled to partner with PSPA, Punjab’s leading social protection program, to advance our shared mission of uplifting communities, particularly women. We are committed to ensuring that financial aid reaches beneficiaries in an efficient, transparent, and secure manner,” said Murtaza Ali, President of JazzCash.

At the signing ceremony, Ali Shehzad, CEO of PSPA, stated, “Partnering with JazzCash as a payment service provider allows us to harness digital financial services to ensure reliable fund disbursement to those who need it most. This collaboration enables seamless and timely transfers, reinforcing our shared commitment to empowering communities across Punjab through innovative solutions.”

As Pakistan’s largest fintech platform, JazzCash will leverage its robust payment infrastructure to ensure safe and accessible disbursements to beneficiaries. The partnership aims to enhance the resilience of vulnerable communities by creating opportunities for upward social and economic mobility.

The partnership is a part of JazzCash’s broader strategy to support communities throughout Pakistan while promoting access to financial services. As the country’s most widely used fintech platform, JazzCash plays a pivotal role in Pakistan’s economy by supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, and individuals with payments, loans, and savings, all through their mobile devices.
