The listing confirms its marketing name as the Infinix Note 70 Pro, which links the model number to the phone leakers have been tracking.

There is a catch, though. The EEC entry does not reveal any hardware specifications, because it mainly covers encryption-related documentation. Even so, showing up in several certification databases is usually a sign that a device is moving closer to release.

Bigger Battery, Familiar Hardware

The reported 7,000 mAh battery appears to be the biggest upgrade over the Note 60 Pro. Most of the other leaked specifications suggest relatively modest changes, which makes the battery the headline feature of this generation.

Display and Performance

A DevCheck hardware listing reveals that the Infinix Note 70 Pro is expected to use a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The same listing points to a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Memory and storage look straightforward, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage listed.

Camera

On the photography side, the phone is reportedly equipped with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). OIS helps keep photos and videos steadier, which is especially useful in low light and when shooting handheld.

Leaked Specifications at a Glance

Model number: X6766 (EEC listing)

Battery: 7,000 mAh

Chipset: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4

Display: 6.78-inch, 1,208 x 2,644 pixels, 144Hz

Memory and storage: 8GB RAM, 256GB storage

Main camera: 50MP with OIS

Why the 7,000 mAh Battery Matters

Battery life is one of the first things buyers check on a mid-range phone. A 7,000 mAh cell is a large capacity, and it would sit alongside a 144Hz display, which tends to draw more power than lower refresh rates. If the leak proves accurate, the phone could comfortably handle a full day of gaming, streaming and social media.

Real-world endurance will still depend on software optimization, so independent reviews will be the real test. For anyone considering an upgrade from the Note 60 Pro, the larger battery is the clearest reason to pay attention, since the rest of the hardware looks familiar.

What We Still Don’t Know

Leaks deserve caution, and Infinix has not officially confirmed any of these details. Several questions remain open:

The official launch date

Pricing and regional availability

Charging speed

Design and colour options

Until the company makes an announcement, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, the 144Hz display and the 7,000 mAh battery should all be treated as unconfirmed.

Final Thoughts on the Infinix Note 70 Pro

The Infinix Note 70 Pro looks like a phone built around one big improvement rather than a complete overhaul. With a larger battery, a smooth high-refresh display and a capable chipset, it could become an appealing option once it launches.
