Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited\u2019s Tameer Trust has partnered with The Dawood Foundation (TDF) to support access to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and experiential learning for children from underserved communities through TDF\u2019s MagnifiScience Centre.<\/p>\n

Under the partnership, students from underserved communities will be sponsored to visit and experience the MagnifiScience Centre, providing them with an opportunity to engage with science through interactive activities and hands-on learning. The partnership builds on Wafi Energy\u2019s continued support for initiatives that provide young people with opportunities to learn and develop new skills.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the partnership, Zubair Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer, Wafi Energy Pakistan, said, \u201cThe future of Pakistan depends on how our young people are learning and developing today. Through this partnership, we want to help more children experience STEM learning in a different way and make it more engaging and enjoyable. We are pleased to continue our association with The Dawood Foundation and support initiatives that help young people learn and explore through experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shafiq Ahmed, Trustee, The Dawood Foundation, said, \u201cAt The Dawood Foundation, we believe that access to learning can open new possibilities, especially for young people. Partnerships like this help us bring more visitors to the MagnifiScience Centre and give them the opportunity to experience science through curiosity and exploration. We appreciate Wafi Energy’s continued support in making these experiences more accessible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Favad Soomro, Chief Executive Officer at The Dawood Foundation also mentioned, \u201cAccess to meaningful learning experiences can have a lasting impact on how young people see themselves and the world around them. Through our initiatives, we aim to make science engaging and accessible to children from all backgrounds. We’re pleased to partner with Wafi Energy once again to create these opportunities for students who might not otherwise have access to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed by Zubair Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer, Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, and Favad Soomro, Chief Executive Officer, The Dawood Foundation. The signing was attended by senior representatives from both organisations, including Imran Qureshi, Director Corporate & Government Relations, Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, and Christoph S. Sprung, Chief Governance Officer, The Dawood Foundation.<\/p>\n

The partnership reflects both organisation\u2019s shared commitment to creating greater access to learning opportunities and supporting the development of young people in Pakistan.<\/p>\n
