Zong, Pakistan\u2019s leading technology service enterprise, and Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), have launched a dedicated 5G Customer Facilitation Desk at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The initiative marks the expansion of Zong\u2019s industry-first airport facilitation model following its successful deployment at Islamabad International Airport, reinforcing the company\u2019s commitment to next-generation technologies, digital enablement, and enhanced passenger connectivity experiences.
\nThe facilitation desk is designed to deliver Ultimate Customer Experience through seamless SIM and services activation, enabling access to high-speed data services, and providing real-time customer support for domestic and international travelers. The initiative further strengthens the airport\u2019s digital ecosystem by enabling uninterrupted access to connectivity services in one of the country\u2019s busiest travel hubs.
\nAs part of its broader 5G strategy, Zong continues to advance Diversified Products & Services that support evolving consumer and enterprise connectivity needs. This also reflects the company\u2019s growing focus on AI Enablement, supporting smarter, more efficient, and connected travel experiences aligned with the vision of Digital Pakistan.
\nCommenting on the initiative, Aurangzeb Khan, Dy. Regional General Manager, Central A at Zong, said: “Lahore is a key gateway for both international and domestic travelers and ensuring immediate connectivity here is crucial. Through this initiative, we are enhancing the overall travel experience by providing reliable and accessible telecom services right at the point of arrival. This reflects our continued focus on customer convenience and service excellence.”

Partnering with Zong for this initiative enables us to offer enhanced digital support to passengers, contributing to a more seamless and comfortable airport experience.”
\nThe realization of this 5G-ready ecosystem is a testament to the seamless collaboration between Zong and the Pakistan Airports Authority, especially the Director General PAA, the Deputy Director General PAA (Airports) HQPAA, and the Director Commercial & Estate HQPAA for their institutional support, as well as the Airport Manager-COO and Senior Joint Director Commercial of Lahore International Airport for their critical on-ground facilitation.<\/p>\n
