Islamabad: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has launched a comprehensive \u201cNo Child Left Behind\u201d door-to-door survey and enrolment campaign across Union Councils in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) to identify and enrol out-of-school children.<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to ensure that every child in ICT has access to education by conducting a detailed household survey at the Union Council level. The campaign is being carried out with the joint participation of education sector stakeholders, government departments and private organizations.
\nUnder the campaign, the Directorate General of Basic Education Community Schools has been assigned nine Union Councils to conduct the survey and collect data on children who are currently not enrolled in schools.
\nBECS formally launched its field survey on Monday, March 9, 2026, from Dhobi Ghaat, G-6\/2, Islamabad, where survey teams started door-to-door visits to gather information on out-of-school children and encourage parents to enrol them in nearby educational institutions.<\/p>\n

Director General BECS Hameed Khan Niazi said the campaign is part of the government\u2019s broader efforts to strengthen the education system, improve enrolment rates, and ensure that no child is deprived of their fundamental right to education.<\/p>\n

The collected data will help authorities design targeted strategies and interventions to bring out-of-school children into the formal education system and support the government\u2019s commitment to achieving universal access to education in ICT.<\/p>\n
