In line with the Go Cashless Economy Drive led by Prime Minister
\nShehbaz Sharif and the State Bank of Pakistan, aik by BankIslami is launching a focused activation
\ncampaign at Creek Walk Food Street in Karachi from November 7 to 16, 2025. The initiative
\nunderscores aik\u2019s mission to promote Shariah-compliant banking and accelerate the adoption of secure
\ndigital payments nationwide.
\nThis initiative aims to promote the adoption of digital payments with aik QR\u2014a fast, secure, and
\nShariah-compliant solution that empowers merchants and customers to embrace a cashless, interest-
\nfree lifestyle. Throughout the campaign, local merchants will receive seamless, convenient digital
\nbanking services that fully align with Shariah-compliant banking principles.
\n\u201cThis drive is about digitizing everyday commerce\u2014right where local entrepreneurs serve their
\ncustomers,\u201d said Ashfaque Ahmed, Chief Officer of aik. \u201cWith this QR payment feature, merchants can
\naccept secure digital payments in seconds, while customers enjoy a Shariah-compliant and cashless
\nexperience that aligns with Pakistan\u2019s national vision\u201d.
\nTo support this initiative and enhance customer acceptance, aik QR payments will offer 50% cashback
\nfor aik and BankIslami customers and 30% cashback for customers of other banks on payments (terms
\nand conditions applied).
\nThis activation reflects aik and BankIslami\u2019s unwavering commitment to financial inclusion and Shariah-
\ncompliant innovation\u2014advancing digital payment adoption while strengthening the brand\u2019s presence
\nwithin Karachi\u2019s vibrant retail and dining community.<\/p>\n
