Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital conglomerate, has launched the eagerly awaited Jazz Tape Ball Super League with an electrifying opening ceremony at the Township Cricket Ground in Lahore. The league aims to nurture grassroots talent and spotlight the vibrant street cricket culture cherished across Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The tournament features eight top-tier tape ball teams from diverse regions of Pakistan, competing in exhilarating six-over matches. Celebrated tape ball players, including Taimoor Mirza and Zaheer Kaliya, bring star power to the league, enhancing its appeal. Teams will face off in a pool-based format before advancing to the playoffs. The grand finale, along with a closing ceremony, is set for December 14.<\/p>\n

Ali Fahd, Vice President of Marketing at Jazz, shared his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating: “Cricket is more than just a sport in Pakistan\u2014it is a unifying force and an integral part of our cultural fabric. At Jazz, we recognize its potential to inspire and engage youth in constructive and healthy pursuits. We are committed to promoting grassroots cricket, supporting the rich tradition of street cricket, and creating platforms for local talent to shine on the national and global stage.”<\/p>\n

The matches will be streamed live on Tamasha, Pakistan\u2019s largest homegrown OTT platform, which has been instrumental in bringing cricket action to fans nationwide. This includes coverage of the Jazz Tape Ball Premier League held in Karachi earlier this year, along with live streaming of ICC events and other top sporting tournaments.<\/p>\n

Jazz\u2019s commitment to sports development extends beyond cricket grounds to digital platforms and inclusivity initiatives, including a recent partnership with players from Pakistan\u2019s national women\u2019s cricket team to empower female athletes and foster an inclusive sports ecosystem. Through the Jazz Tape Ball Super League, the company celebrates Pakistan\u2019s love for cricket while inspiring future superpowers of Pakistan.<\/p>\n
